Catskill Mountain Group SAREX Pix

On 19 AUG 2006, members of the Catskill Mountain Group from group, Rockland, Orange County Cadet, Orange County Senior and Sullivan County Cadet Squadrons participated in a wing wide exercise.

The SAREX consisted of damage assessment of a simulated category 4 hurricane that traveled from New York City to the Finger Lakes Region before weakening to a topical depression. Below are selected photos of the response team (all names are left to right, photos courtesy E. Unjhem):

coordinates that required plotting on a local sectional chart
